3. Publicly Displayed Information
Certain seller and listing details are displayed publicly to facilitate marketplace trust and transactions:
- Publicly Visible: Seller name, profile photo, city, listing photos, item title, compatibility, condition, quality badge, price, and posting date.
- Private / Controlled Contact: Phone numbers and WhatsApp details are not publicly indexed or displayed in search engines. They are exposed strictly when a user chooses to initiate contact through the app's WhatsApp or Call actions.
4. Seller Verification & Content Moderation
All seller registration applications and submitted part listings undergo manual administrative review by the MP Finder team prior to public activation.
Verification data (including selfies and business locations) is used exclusively for identity verification, trust assurance, and platform security.
5. Reporting & Fraud Prevention
Users can report listings for spam, fraud, counterfeit items, miscategorization, or already sold products.
MP Finder reserves the right to review listings before or after publication, edit or remove non-compliant listings, suspend seller privileges, and permanently ban accounts engaged in fraudulent or abusive practices.
6. Data Security & Retention
We protect your information using industry-standard technical and organizational security measures:
- Encryption: All data transmitted between your device and MP Finder is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
- Storage Security: Seller headshots and listing photos are stored in secure cloud buckets with access controls.
- Restricted Access: Administrative access to seller verification records and report logs is restricted to authorized personnel.
We retain your data for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
7. User Rights & Data Control
You have full control over your marketplace activity and personal data:
- Edit & Delete Listings: Sellers can modify item details, update prices, mark listings as sold, or permanently delete listings at any time.
- Account & Seller Removal: You may request the removal of your seller verification status or full account deletion by contacting MP Finder support.
- Information Access: You may request a copy of the personal information stored in your account profile.
8. Marketplace Disclaimer
MP Finder provides a venue and directory connecting mobile repairers, wholesalers, buyers, and sellers.
MP Finder is not the owner, seller, or manufacturer of listed products, does not hold custody of items, and does not guarantee product quality, authenticity, availability, pricing accuracy, or transaction outcomes.
Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for inspecting products, verifying terms, and conducting transactions safely.
